We have made it easy for you to explore the Paris of the Nordics, with our little 'tourist' guide, where we show Aalborg's unique characteristics that you should explore during your stay. Furthermore, we have also shown where you can shop, just a stone's throw from the apartment at Marshalls Alle. All accessible by bus, which stops right in front of the apartment. We have outlined some of them here:

Aalborg Zoo:

Explore Aalborg's beautiful zoo. Aalborg Zoo can be enjoyed by people of all ages. In addition to the incredibly nice and many animals you come across, there is also a large playground for the children, and a nice restaurant & cafe area.

Aalborg Zoo is an urban animal park located near the center of Aalborg. Aalborg Zoo is visited on an annual basis by 337,023 guests, and the park contains more than 1,500 animals, spread over approx. 126 different species and is approx. 8 hectares. The garden was inaugurated in April 1935.

Kunsten:

If you are in the artistic corner and would like to explore the creative part of Aalborg, you have the opportunity to visit the Kunsten Museum of Modern Art Aalborg as "is a modern art museum – and an experience house where everyone can find new inspiration and where the whole family can explore art and creativity. At Kunsten you can experience Danish and international art from the 20th century to the present day.

Aalborg Shopping Mall

Are you in the shopping mood? Then Aalborg Storcenter located in City South is just the thing for you. The City South area is notorious for being North Jutland's shopping mecca, with its over 100 stores, 75 of which are in Aalborg Storcenter. The center has over 6 million visitors annually and contains, among other things, one of the country's largest Bilka (grocery and electronics) warehouses. 

Aalborg City Center

Aalborg Centrum has a lot to offer. In addition to fantastic shopping opportunities such as Magasin & Salling department stores, Algade, Bispensgade and much more, Aalborg Centrum also offers incredible taste experiences. With its many lovely cafes at e.g. Klostertorvet, or its fine restaurants on the large Nytorv square, you will never run out of pleasant taste experiences. 

If, on the other hand, you need "a cold one" to quench your thirst, then you can also explore Jomfru Ane Gade, which consists of over 20 different pubs and discos.
